Certified Lifeguards actively working at the YK Fitness Center are eligible to earn a bonus of up to $100 per month.
Who is eligible? All YKFC staff who are actively working Lifeguard shifts.
How it Works: for every 10 shifts a Lifeguard works they will receive a $100 check from the YK Delta Lifesavers (one check per month).
Do I still get paid regular wages? YES. The bonus is in addition to your regular wage. Starting wage for new lifeguards is $18 per hour as of Spring 2024.
How do I get the bonus?
Become an American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard. To become a certified Lifeguard take an American Red Cross Lifeguard class. We offer classes at YKFC and honor classes taken at other locations.
